That trip was a real eye-opener for me, you know. Many unaware people tend to think that, to live in Africa and to be Africans means that we know everything about the bush and that we rub shoulders with wild animals everyday. Which is not true.

However, here in Africa,we still have the chance to enjoy our natural environment and reconnect with our roots at places such as Ngala, and I think that we have to enjoy it to the fullest.

My hope is to see such places in West Africa one day and especially in Cameroon. And the ‘Ngala experience’ comforts me in the idea that tourism and conservation should be seriously taken care of. While we’ve still got the resources.

From Mpumalanga to the world,

Let’s keep moving.

Bonne soiree!

  1. I enjoy the concept of bringing to Africans espacially the diaspora through its younger generation the idea of an "African-tourism". we hope in a near future, everybody will have our continent as the first destination spot to visit. This will benefit not only the development of tourism but also the development of our mind. Now to lets enter in the content of the video, I think this part of tourism in Africa is well known (Safari and so forth) everywhere in the world, But now I think the real challenge would be bringing new type or form of tourism for which Africa is not particularly well known for. This will also broaden your audience. I didn’t discuss the form of the video because first of all as you remind us it is amateur work and secondly I am not an expert in video making, but I will quickly suggest to stop embedding pictures as you did for rhinos and meals in the video, it doesn’t make sense at all. if a picture is worth thousand words, a video is certainly worth millions words. From US to the world keep moving.

    • Thank you, Ced! I must admit, your advices make sense. On my next video, I will try to focus more on Special Interest Tourism, but at the same time, I was also asked by a reader, to think about people who’ve never been to SA,or even Africa. So I’ll have to find interesting and original content, but one that’ll remain authentically African. That’s a challenge.
And I will try and improve the next videos, according to what you said. I think I’ll also try and make them shorter.
      Thank you Ced!

  2. nice video…keep it up girls…..u did a great job.it was a peaceful place, very quiet, the food was miamiam..i was even hungry after watching it..one word bravooo

  3. Good job.
